Previously known as Shuttle Rimini Bologna, from now on, the shuttle bus transfer service will be named Shuttle Italy Airport.

The “Shuttle” project has also proved an example of positive and virtuous collaboration between public institutions (Region, Municipalities, Provinces, APT) and private entrepreneurship. The administrations have in fact supported and facilitated the project at the authorization and regulatory level, thus offering a useful service to their citizens and favoring the tourist incoming of the area.
From Cesena’s and Rimini’s stops, with a mandatory online booking, travelers can find connections with local taxi cooperatives that accompany them to their final destination (home, hotel, etc.). One of the most evident data emerged in the traffic peaks recorded during the major events of the Riviera. “Pink Night”, “Longest New Year in the World”, IEG trade fairs and congresses, increase the influx of tourists to Rimini and its territory. One of the positive effects induced by the widespread use of the “Shuttle” is the decrease in car traffic on our motorway network. A reliable projection of the relationship between passengers and decrease in the use of private cars reduces the number of transits on the Rimini / Bologna axis by at least 25,000 units. In addition, “The service is guaranteed by a fleet of buses consisting of vehicles ranging from 19 to 54 seats, used in number and capacity corresponding to reservations and expected number of passengers”. All vehicles are in Euro 5/6 class, with low consumption and low environmental impact. They are equipped with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, minibar. A service operating 365 days a year, ten trips a day, with departure and arrival times corresponding to the peak times of the main national and international flights of the Bologna airport.
